The existing water and wastewater treatment plants are operated almost at the full capacity of 9450 cubic meters per day. Several enterprises at SIP have conceptualized their expansion and  forecasted increase in future water consumption. Therefore it is required to enhance the capacity of existing treatment plant by 8,000 cubic meters per day to meet the future demand.
