a means of procurement of public sector infrastructure, in sectors such as water, electricity, roads,
airports, railways, hospitals, schools and social housing. Once rare, PPPs are now used as an important

the Ministerial Conference on Public-Private Partnerships for Infrastructure Development held on 5 October 2007 in Seoul Korea along with the Secretary of the Ministry of Enterprise Development Mr Thosapala Hewage & the Head of the PPP Unit Mrs Pauline Matthias who also participated in the "High Level Expert Group Meeting on Public-Private Partnerships for Infrastructure Development from Oct 2nd to the 4th 2007.
